Returns & Recall Policy

Last updated: April 2026 · Material Lift Supply — A K and 2 Holdings LLC Company

Material Lift Supply is committed to standing behind every piece of equipment we sell. This page outlines our procedures for safety recalls, defective product returns, and standard returns on industrial equipment. Please read each section carefully before contacting our team.

Safety Recalls

If your equipment is subject to a recall — stop use immediately

Material Lift Supply actively monitors safety recall notices issued by the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and our manufacturer partners. If a product you purchased from us is subject to a recall, we will contact you directly using the email address on file with your order.

  • Cease operation of the recalled equipment immediately upon notification.
  • Do not attempt to repair or modify the equipment yourself.
  • Contact us at support@materialliftsupply.com with your order number and the recall notice reference.
  • We will coordinate directly with the manufacturer to arrange repair, replacement, or refund per the terms of the official recall.

You can also verify active recall notices independently at cpsc.gov/recalls.

Defective Product Returns

A defective product is equipment that arrives inoperable, fails during initial operation, or exhibits a manufacturing defect under normal use conditions. Defective product claims are handled separately from standard returns and are not subject to restocking fees.

Step 1 — Report Within 30 Days

Contact us within 30 days of delivery at support@materialliftsupply.com. Include your order number, a description of the defect, and photos or video documenting the issue. Do not attempt to use or repair the equipment before your claim is evaluated.

Step 2 — Manufacturer Warranty Review

Material Lift Supply will act as your intermediary with the manufacturer's warranty department. Do not contact the manufacturer directly — all warranty claims must route through us so we can advocate on your behalf and maintain a full record of the claim.

Step 3 — Resolution

Depending on the manufacturer's warranty terms, resolution will be one of: (a) replacement parts shipped at no charge, (b) a full replacement unit, or (c) a refund if repair or replacement is not possible. Resolution timelines are determined by the manufacturer's warranty process and will be communicated to you as they are confirmed.

Standard Returns (Non-Defective)

Due to the size, weight, and freight cost of industrial equipment, non-defective returns are accepted on a case-by-case basis and are subject to the following conditions:

  • Return requests must be submitted within 30 days of the delivery date.
  • All returns require a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number issued by Material Lift Supply. Do not ship equipment back without an RMA — unauthorized returns will be refused.
  • A restocking fee of up to 25% of the purchase price will be applied to all approved non-defective returns.
  • The customer is responsible for all return freight costs, including palletization, LTL pickup, and delivery to the manufacturer's facility.
  • Equipment must be returned in original, unused condition with all original packaging, components, and documentation intact.
  • Refunds are issued within 5–10 business days after the manufacturer receives and inspects the returned equipment.

Items Not Eligible for Return

  • Custom, made-to-order, or special-configuration equipment
  • Equipment that has been installed, used, or modified after delivery
  • Equipment damaged due to misuse, improper installation, overloading, or unauthorized repair
  • Items returned without original packaging or with missing components
  • Orders where return has not been approved and an RMA number has not been issued
  • Return requests submitted more than 30 days after the delivery date
